I’m just an old cow chewing on some grass
Sometimes I raise my head when a car goes past
Don’t like to make a scene don’t like to make a fuss

I’m just an old cow I sleep out on the hay
If things are kind of slow I might just sleep all day
When the grass is green I’m happy as can be
‘cause I can watch the grass grow underneath of me

Slow and slower work just fine for me
If the skies are blue or if the skies are grey
I will be here sleeping every single day
